In the space of a few weeks, Drew McIntyre has positioned himself in a very favourable position on Monday Night RAW which suggests he's going to be a main event player soon.

Naturally, there was plenty of pressure on the former NXT Champion to impress. Not just because he was another call-up with all eyes on him, but he had the additional task of changing his legacy based on how his first run with WWE ended.

MAIN ROSTER PUSH

Being labelled the chosen one by Vince McMahon at such a young age probably didn't help, and forming 3MB meant it was clear that he was never going to fulfil his potential. However, his work on the main roster alongside Dolph Ziggler is leading many to believe that this around, big things are certainly on the horizon.

It also helps that Vince is still a big fan while both he and Triple H are heavily involved in his booking, and moulding him to become the next huge star on the red brand.

Ever since he's been called up, McIntyre has remained rather outspoken, even in his out of character interviews.

Usually, he's taking aim at the roster and the complacency he's seeing. When he spoke to Jim Ross on his podcast, however, he did have some positive things to say about three superstars in particular.

McIntyre revealed that he's interested in working with superstars that are hard workers, before revealing that Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are the stars he wants to wrestle soon.

FEUDS

According to Wrestling Inc, he said: "When Braun Strowman and I stepped into the ring together, I could literally feel the crowd rumble. And I'm just back, and I still have some equity to build with those casual fans, but just from a visual perspective, I could feel them rumbling, and I was like, 'Wow, this could be something really good down the line.'

"And Roman, he works his butt off. That's another guy I'm looking forward to getting in the ring with.

"Rollins is killing it every single week. When we get the opportunity, we're going to tear the roof off. And that's just a few obvious names of guys that are working their butt off and I'm looking forward to working with."

Rumours suggest that The Show is heading for a break-up in the near future, meaning McIntyre's first big singles feud back on the main roster could very well be against Ziggler.

Fans - and even JR - are calling for McIntyre to enter the Universal Championship picture soon. While that's a massive leap right off the bat, having the feuds he highlighted could be the most natural and beneficial way of cementing his status as a main event star.
