Since last year, there has been a lot more focus on WWE contracts, and the expiration dates regarding certain superstars.

In particular, there has been a lot of focus on both Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar. In the case of the former SmackDown LIVE general manager, fans have been eager to find out whether or not Bryan will leave the WWE once his contract expires and potentially heads back to the independent scene.

CONTRACTS

Although, the fact that he's been cleared has just made the situation a lot more confusing, with fans unable to predict whether or not that makes his decision to stay or leave easier.

The Beast, on the other hand, was expected to leave at WrestleMania 34, where the rumours stated he would drop the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns in the main event before heading to the exit and re-joining the UFC.

That hasn't happened, and Lesnar is still a part of WWE with the title around his waist with a defence now expected at SummerSlam. Contract talks have also hit the headlines this week after what happened over in Japan, where Kenny Omega became the new IWGP Heavyweight Champion by defeating Kazuchika Okada.

With his contract expiring on January 31, 2019, sources have claimed Vince McMahon and New Japan could be involved in a bidding war next year to sign him. Now, Fightful has released a list of contract details for several superstars, highlighting when they are set to expire.

First up, Lesnar's contract is expiring in August 2018, suggesting that his title defence at SummerSlam - supposedly against The Big Dog - will be his final night in WWE before he makes his exit.

EXPIRATION

Next up, attention will fall on Bryan as his contract expires on September 1, so the clock is ticking on him signing a new deal with WWE. Based on what several sources have said over the past few weeks, however, they seem confident that Bryan will be signing a new deal to stay with WWE.

Mauro Ranallo and Paige's contracts are said to be expiring in 2019, while Stephanie McMahon will also have her contract to renew next year. Although, the source has revealed that Stephanie's deal - which will end on October 7, 2019, is only for her on-screen role and not her position behind the scenes.

In 2020, both Mojo Rawley and Mandy Rose will see their contracts expire while The Big Show recently signed a new WWE deal; now set to expire in 2021.

The Miz is also continuing to show that he's a vital asset to WWE both inside and outside the ring, with his contract expiring in 2022.

One of the most recent big-names that has signed a lengthy contract with WWE is Kevin Owens. Last month, the former Universal Champion signed a new five-year deal with the company so he's expected to remain in WWE until 2023 - at the minimum.

Vince has some time left with some of the stars, such as Owens and The Miz, but it seems like his immediate focus is going to fall on Bryan - especially since Lesnar already has one foot out of the door.
