On Monday night, RAW put on its last show before Money in the Bank this Sunday.

Unsurprisingly, the action mostly centered around the two ladder matches and those that will be competing in them.

With eight superstars in both the men's and women's MITB matches this year - the field is evenly split between four competitors from RAW and four from SmackDown Live in each.

RAW'S PARTICIPANTS

For the men's match, the red brand is represented by Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman and Bobby Roode.

Alexa Bliss, Natalya, Sasha Banks and Ember Moon are the RAW superstars in the women's match.

On last night's show, all the challenger's were in action against one another - with two fatal four-ways taking place.

The women's battle opened the show and that was won by Natalya, who submitted Bliss. As expected, the men's match closed it.

STROWMAN WINS THE FATAL FOUR-WAY

After almost 20 minutes of absolute carnage, it was The Monster Among Men that scored the pin to win the match.

He made a strong recovery after being put through the announce table by Owens, who landed a frog splash from the top of a ladder to take Strowman down early on.

Damaged ribs clearly weren't enough to floor him for too long though - as the monster later cornered KO in the ring before driving him onto a ladder with his running powerslam. Ouch.

WHAT HAPPENED AFTER RAW WENT OFF THE AIR

After the match concluded, Roode, Balor and Strowman left the ring, leaving just Owens inside it. But what happened next, in the dark segment, is quite confusing.

According to Wrestling Inc, Roman Reigns came out to meet KO in the ring. Just as Owens was recovering from his match, The Big Dog hit him with a spear, before celebrating with fans afterward.

Normally, following any televised WWE show, the live audience is treated to a dark match. But the exchange between KO and Reigns makes no sense at all.

They aren't involved in any kind of feud or rivalry at the moment, so why would Reigns just come out and deliver a spear Owens, rather than having a short match with him - like normal?

Although this is odd, what might be even weirder, is that fans were actually apparently celebrating with Roman. That's a first.
