It's been claimed that Jason Jordan has been spotted backstage at Monday Night RAW for several weeks now, suggesting that he's been cleared and his on-screen return is imminent.
Ever since that was revealed, a couple of different storylines have been rumoured and Jordan is in a unique position where he could naturally slot into a handful of feuds.
There's the obvious - WWE might choose not to ditch the father-son angle between the former NXT star and Kurt Angle, and could stick alongside him as he did before his untimely injury.
In recent weeks, there has also been talk that the dominance of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre over the rest of RAW's tag team division could see Jordan and Chad Gable reunite to reform American Alpha. That's something that is desperately needed on the red brand, as the tag team division needs an immediate injection of relevancy to get the fans caring about it again.
You also can't rule out Seth Rollins either. While The Kingslayer is currently feuding with Elias over the Intercontinental Championship, there could still be a story to tell there as rumours once claimed Jordan would turn heel as the two held the tag team titles.
However, Cageside Seats has revealed the opponent WWE is likely to pick once Jordan is back on television.
According to the source, Jordan is set to feud with Baron Corbin following the latter's new gimmick on the red brand.
THE LONE WOLF
The Lone Wolf had been rumoured for a main event push for quite some time now, and his move to RAW in the Superstar Shake-up from SmackDown LIVE seemed to cement the notion that Vince McMahon is reportedly a big fan of his.
However, not many would have expected Corbin to become an authority figure, revealing that Stephanie McMahon personally made him the constable of RAW and he dived into his new role this week with a fresh new look as he went bald.
It might have only been a week since it was announced, but we're already seeing the visible tension between Corbin and Angle on-screen, suggesting that another power struggle is on the way.
Speculation did suggest last week that Corbin could be set to meet Angle, but it hasn't been confirmed as to whether Angle will don the singlet again to meet Corbin in the ring.
It also sounds like the father-son storyline between Angle and Jordan could continue, with Jordan competing against Corbin instead of Angle.
