It seems Anthony Martial has had enough of Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager often named Martial on the bench last season, leading to rumours that the 22-year-old was growing increasingly frustrated with his role at the club.
And his agent confirmed the news last night that Martial wants to leave Manchester.
"After thinking about all the possibilities and scenarios, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United," Martial's agent, Philippe Lamboley, told RMC Sport. "There are many scenarios. For now, it's premature to talk about it. Anthony will speak later to explain all of this.
"We do not share the same vision for Anthony's future. Today, Anthony is disappointed because he has shown for three seasons the love he has for the club and its supporters."
MAN UNITED REITERATE THEIR STANCE
So what will Man United do?
It's fair to say that most fans of the club will want Martial to stay.
The French 22-year-old is one of the most talented youngsters in the world, and on his day is almost unstoppable to defend.
According to Simon Stone of the BBC, Man United have now reiterated their stance on the winger, and it's looking good for those that want him to stay.
The BBC journalist tweeted: "Been told Man Utd have no intention of selling Anthony Martial. Still has one year + option for additional season left on his contract."
Seems like the club are keen to hold on to the former Monaco star.
Whether Martial will push for a move, however, remains to be seen.
Lamboley went on to say that Martial is pursuing a move away because he does not feel he is valued as an important part of the team.
"Manchester United want to extend Anthony's contract and do not want him to leave, but we have not been able to find an agreement for several months," he added.
"I think that when Manchester United, which is the most powerful club in the world it must be remembered, do not find an agreement in eight months of negotiations, it is because they do not really want to make him an important member of the team.
"That's the root of this decision. It is a well-considered decision."
