Back in February, the Philadelphia Eagles shocked the world when they beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52.

Led by backup quarterback Nick Foles, the Eagles beat Tom Brady and co. 41-33 to win their first-ever world championship.

Before that night, just getting to the Super Bowl was an achievement in itself for Philadelphia, who were not expected to perform well without Carson Wentz.

WINNING WITH AN INJURED STARTING QB

The Eagles starter tore his ACL against the Los Angeles Rams in week 14 - and Foles came in to relieve him. They won that game 43-35 to clinch the NFC East.

Their backup QB pushed on in weeks 15 and 16, leading the team to wins against the New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders.

In the postseason, Foles and the Eagles got even better. They beat the Atlanta Falcons in the Divisional Playoffs and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game.

The rest, of course, is history, as Philadelphia secured their first ever Super Bowl win shortly after.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS

With their maiden Super Bowl victory comes Philly's first Super Bowl rings. Just as the team gets to take ownership of the Vince Lombardi trophy itself, each player will get a ring to remember their win.

This concept is nothing new - as players have been getting rings for wins since Super Bowl 1. But this year, the Eagles have managed to get themselves some pretty unique jewelry.

They were finally awarded their rings on Thursday night - but it would have been well worth the wait - as there are three unique details on this year's rings.

A UNIQUE PRIZE

Firstly, there is a slogan engraved on the side - to compliment the Super Bowl 52 logo. It reads "we all we got, we all we need", which perfectly sums up the city of Philly.

The rings also feature the underdog logo that the franchise adopted throughout their run. Although it's not too visible (as it's hidden behind the knuckle) it's still a fantastic addition.

Finally, each ring has exactly 127 diamonds. Now, that only becomes significant when you think about the Philly Special - the trick play that played a massive part in deciding the game.

When you add up the jersey numbers of every player involved in that play - it comes to a total of, you guessed it, 127. That's pretty cool.

Clearly then, each member of the Eagles team has been rewarded with a very unique prize, following a very unique championship win.
