A new era is underway at Arsenal.

There's an air of excitement around the Emirates Stadium after 22 years under Arsene Wenger came to an end in May. Arsenal supporters were sad to see the legendary manager go, but feel the time is right for a change in north London.

Unai Emery was unveiled as the new manager last month and rumours are already circulating about how he'll change the club over the summer.

Considering Emery is said to have only £50 million at his disposal, there have been no shortage of players linked with an Arsenal switch in recent weeks.

The club has already secured the capture of Stephan Lichtsteiner, which looks a shrewd purchase from Juventus on a free transfer.

All change at Arsenal this summer

The transfers shouldn't end there, though, with centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos and goalkeeper Bernd Leno believed to be a few talks away from a move.

That's not to mention links to players such as Mario Gotze, Caglar Soyuncu, Lucas Torreira and Benjamin Pavard amongst others.

There are also questions to be asked about the current squad and Arsenal fans certainly hold strong opinions on who should stay and who should leave this summer.

The 3 players Arsenal fans want out

For example, players such as Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey have rather precarious contract situations right now.

Well, the Mirror has sought to establish who Gooners want to leave this summer by staging an interactive poll on their website and thousands of supporters have already interacted.

Fans can go through the entire squad and reveal whether they think that player should leave or not.

And, two days since the vote started, three players are wanted out.

They are Welbeck, David Ospina and Shkodran Mustafi.

There's also a special mention needed for Callum Chambers who is just 1% of voting away from joining those players in the bad books of Arsenal fans.

It may surprise a few to see that more fans want Petr Cech to stay than leave, while Gooners are almost certain their number two shot stopper should depart in the summer.

As for Mustafi, that decision is far less surprising after such a terrible second campaign at the Emirates and rumours are rife that he could leave the club.

Welbeck may feel hard done by, yet the Englishman has struggled to kick on since his 2014 move from Manchester United.

There wouldn't exactly be an outcry if Emery dropped the axe.

So, every other player in the squad has more Arsenal fans onside than they don't, but that doesn't mean that things won't change.

Players like the aforementioned Cech and even Wilshere currently have a fractious relationship with the fan-base if the poll is to be believed.

For now, though, they're not in the dreaded bottom three.
