Over the past year and a half, Sheamus and Cesaro have formed one of the WWE's top tag teams.

The pair were originally feuding against one another, before then RAW General Manager Mick Foley made them team up in September 2016.

Since then, "The Bar" have gone on to win the RAW Tag Team Championships a record-setting four times.

After being drafted to SmackDown Live back in April, they're now chasing the blue brand's tag team gold.

GOOD IN AND OUT OF THE RING

What's made Sheamus and Cesaro so exciting to watch for almost two years, is that they're not just good fighters in the ring - but they're also very entertaining on the mic.

They're technically wrestling as heels - and can often be heard badmouthing their audiences or just generally annoying the fans.

But as they do so, they're so good at it, that it's actually hard to dislike them - and more often than not, they get bigger pops than some "face" wrestlers when coming out to the ring.

THE TAG TEAM THAT SHAPED SHEAMUS

Early on in their run as a team, The Bar came up against The New Day - and after a number of matches, eventually took the tag titles away from them.

But that's not all they did. Because according to Sheamus, The New Day didn't just lose their belts, but they also helped the Irish half of The Bar develop his character.

"It took a while with our separate move sets and wardrobes, but we got on the right track," he told The Telegraph Herald, per Rajah.com.

"When we're in the ring we're on the same page and always thinking the same. With New Day, it brought me out of that 'Celtic Warrior' character.

"I love to fight and have been fighting my whole life, but I've welcomed the entertainment aspect more against New Day and that gives the WWE universe a chance to see a different side of me."

Sheamus revealed that working with The New Day helped him to really enjoy his time in the ring - and take everything a little less seriously. Just like his rivals.

"I've let my guard down and I just go out there and have fun."

It's not too surprising that The New Day were the team that helped Sheamus come out of his character, to embrace the fun as much as the action.

Because after all, everytime Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods come out to the ring, they bring the party.
