Errol Spence Jr. has maintained his unbeaten record with a knockout victory over Carlos Ocampo. Not only did the 28-year-old prove he can attract a sellout crowd, he made exceptionally quick work of Ocampo, stopping him with a series of body shots in the first round.Despite keeping hold of his IBF welterweight belt, the southpaw actually spoke of his disappointment after the bout as he would have liked to have spent more time in the ring - indeed, it's now four years since he went the distance."I was a little disappointed, I wanted to give the crowd their money's worth," he said, per Sky Sports."I wanted him to sustain a bit and give him some punishment, but the body shot got him and I dropped him."It was a great victory. It was really short, so it is hard to describe. I took my time, I tried to use my jab. He was a little bit awkward, but I caught him and was able to actually hurt him."I don't get paid for overtime. If I can get him out in the first, great, but I wanted to carry it, go to the fourth or fifth round for the fans."

Another comprehensive win

Take a look at the moment he secured victory below:

Impressive stuff as always and he's now stopped his opponent in 11 consecutive fights.

The natural question now is who the American will go up against next.

Who's next?

Prior to the Ocampo fight, Spence Jr. said he wanted to face the winner of Danny Garcia vs Shawn Porter, and plenty of boxing fans think that it's the former who would provide the most intriguing contest.

Garcia and Porter will fight in December, with the vacant WBC welterweight title at stake.

It's a difficult call between the two, with both having tasted defeat to Keith Thurman in the last couple of years and both having held different versions of the title previously.

Ultimately, fans are very excited at what the future holds for Spence Jr. after another thoroughly impressive, albeit short, run-out.
