WWE made another blockbuster announcement on Saturday to follow in the footsteps of their Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was perhaps the worst-kept secret in WWE all year, but the news was finally confirmed that the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia will play host to the Super Show-Down event this October. With a 100,000 capacity to sell out, it's evident that WWE is going to pull out all the stops to ensure they shatter more records when they go down under.

SUPER SHOW-DOWN

One way to do that well beforehand is to make sure tickets are guaranteed to sell out is by revealing which big names are going to be in attendance, as well as the potential matches.

The same technique was used for the Greatest Royal Rumble, and the WWE has already confirmed that Triple H will battle The Undertaker for the final time. Along with this, the poster suggests that huge names like Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey are all going to be in action later this year.

However, there's one notable exclusion which has fans raising questions, poking fun and venting their frustrations - Brock Lesnar isn't on the poster and hasn't been announced either.

There had been a lot of talk this week where it was revealed that Vince McMahon still hasn't secured The Beast for SummerSlam, despite speculation suggesting he's going to feature in the main event against Roman Reigns with the Universal Championship on the line.

A possible loss would then allow Lesnar to leave for the UFC, especially since it's been rumoured that he could have a role to play at UFC 226.

LESNAR ABSENCE

However, fans have taken to social media to question Lesnar's absence from the poster. This is leading many to believe that before October, Lesnar will finally drop the Universal Championship to somebody else on Monday Night RAW and leave the WWE with The Big Dog, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman said to be the three leading contenders to dethrone him.

Not only that, but fans are also wondering whether Lesnar will still be the champion but won't be making the long trip to Australia, while others are poking fun at the fact that even The Undertaker has had more matches in 2018 than Lesnar.

Considering Vince sees Lesnar as a star attraction that sells tickets, Lesnar would have perhaps been the first name they announced to make sure they sell tickets immediately.

With no Lesnar featured at all right now, it does seem like his future is becoming clearer.

Either Lesnar will have left the WWE by October, he won't be the Universal Champion or he just won't make the trip.

This is something fans are certainly going to keep their eye on towards the - potentially - latter stages of his Universal Championship reign.
