With two days past between Smackdown Live and Money in the Bank, WWE begins to look ahead towards Extreme Rules.Four matches were announced early for the show, including a gauntlet match to become number one contender for the WWE Championship - Samoa Joe, Rusev, Daniel Bryan, The Miz and Big E will battle it out one by one.The Bludgeon Brothers face Anderson and Gallows in a Money in the Bank rematch and SAnitY will finally make their blue brand debut against The Usos.Billie Kay and Becky Lynch will also square off on the first episode of Smackdown Live since Big Cass was released. Here are the results from Smackdown Live:CARMELLA AND ASUKA CONTINUE THEIR RIVALRYCarmella came out first on Smackdown Live to remind everyone that Mella is Money. She was joined promptly by James Ellsworth, who confirmed his allegiance to The Princess of Staten Island once again.Asuka came out and squared off with Ellsworth and Spinning Kick'ed the creator of No Chin Music. Carmella then hit Asuka with a Superkick and scampered away with her title in hand.

Rating - 5/10

It is good to see Ellsworth back as he adds an extra dynamic to Carmella's title run. She has now beaten Flair and Asuka, but it seems as though this feud will continue for now.

BECKY LYNCH VS. BILLIE KAY

The IIconics came out first and cut a promo in the ring slating the town and then Lynch herself. Lynch came out to a massive ovation, similar to the one she was receiving in Chicago on Sunday.

The Lasskicker came out strong with the Bexploder but Kay got the upper hand with thanks to the ring post impaling Lynch.

Lynch flew onto the outside and accidentally flattened an onlooking Peyton Royce before getting back in the ring and setting in the DisArmHer, forcing Kay to tap out.

Rating - 7/10

Becky Lynch has some really good momentum at the moment and that should be capitalized on sooner rather than later. A proper feud before a title shot would be the least she deserves. The IIconics were annoying as per usual, which is great.

SANITY VS. THE USOS

The Usos arrived first and claimed that they made a statement once when they first arrived in WWE and they were not going to let Sanity do the same. To an extent, they were right.

Sanity made their entrance and easily wiped out Jimmy and Jey Uso before the bell had even rung in a scary manner.

Rating - 4/10

Sanity's entrance is really cool but it would have been great to see them in a match on Smackdown Live tonight. Also, The Usos were chosen as the team to put them over when they are others on Smackdown Live who could be used for that job. Dain will be so impressive and should get a singles title inside the group as soon as possible.

THE BLUDGEON BROTHERS VS. GALLOWS AND ANDERSON

In a rematch from 48 hours previously, The Club faced Harper and Rowan for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships.

Luke Gallows took the brunt of the Bludgeon Bros offense early on as he got trapped in the champion's corner. They used hard-hitting moves and Rowan even hit a Superplex from the top rope.

It was a really well-paced match and Anderson got a wonderful hot tag and almost had Rowan pinned with a Spinebuster. The Bludgeon Brothers were able to regain the advantage though as Rowan sent Gallows over the audience barrier and set up Anderson for the Sit-Out Powerbomb to secure the win.

Rating - 8/10

This match was thoroughly enjoyable as it was well paced and it was believable that The Club was going to win in places. Harper and Rowan work so well together as a team and are legitimately scary. Anderson and Gallows did no damage to their stocks either, it just wasn't their time.

GAUNTLET MATCH - DANIEL BRYAN VS. BIG E

Daniel Bryan picked number one and made his way to the ring, passing The Bludgeon Brothers on the ramp and staring them down: Big E came out as his first opponent of the evening.

Bryan took an early advantage using holds to immobilize E and limit the use of his superior size and strength. However, E was able to break free and produce a big Splash onto Bryan on the ring apron.

Bryan tried the Flying Headbutt but there was nobody home. He managed to successfully execute the Yes Kicks in the corner and then sending him flying across the ring. Bryan tried an Arm Triangle and a Heel Hook but Big E was able to avoid both submission moves.

E hit a big Spear on Bryan whilst flying through the ropes but it wasn't enough as moments later Bryan got back into the ring and hit the flying knee for the pinfall victory.

DANIEL BRYAN VS. SAMOA JOE

As if defeating Big E wasn't hard enough, Samoa Joe made his way to the ring next.

Joe was beating down Bryan during the ad break and had lit up Bryan's chest a crimson red. He then continued the beatdown on an almost lifeless Bearded GOAT. A scooped Powerslam almost dropped Bryan on his head and alternative submission moves including the STF were still not enough to put Bryan away.

The match continued but only until a smart count out won the match for Daniel Bryan after mountains of chops and the brawl spilling to the outside.

DANIEL BRYAN VS. THE MIZ

After Bryan just beat the count, The Bludgeon Brothers came into the ring and beat down Bryan, executing their Powerbomb onto a helpless Daniel.

The Miz seized this opportunity as he rushed to ring, hit Skull Crushing Finale and pinned Bryan for three. Just like that, Bryan's hopes had faded.

THE MIZ VS. RUSEV

Rusev dominated early on as he used his brute strength but The Miz used true veterans tactics to turn the match around. Rusev then turned the tides back in his favour with the full support of the crowd behind him.

The Miz mocked Daniel Bryan but to no avail as he was met with a Superkick which was swiftly transitioned into The Accolade, forcing The Miz to tap out.

Rusev is now the number one contender for AJ Styles and his WWE Championship. The match will go down at Extreme Rules. Rusev shook Styles' hand after the match whereas his sidekick Aiden English mocked The Phenomenal One.

Rating - 10/10

A perfectly booked gauntlet match. Bryan looked incredible against Big E and Samoa Joe before The Bludgeon Brothers took him out. You can only presume this was supposed to be Big Cass in this spot. The Miz and Rusev had a great end too, with brilliant wrestling. Overall, a perfect hour of wrestling television. You just have to watch it.
