Uruguay made it two wins in successive World Cup games, defeating Saudi Arabia via a sole goal from Luis Suarez. It was the Barcelona striker's 100th cap for his nation, and he marked it with a 52nd goal, a fantastic return for a world-class hitman. The South American's may have been expecting to win by more considering how disappointing the Saudi's were against the hosts Russia on the opening day of the tournament, but they had to settle for just the one goal, but the most important thing was gaining the three points to seal qualification to the knockout rounds.Speaking following BBC's coverage of the game, former Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba believes we haven't seen the best of Oscar Tabarez's men just yet, but was not impressed with the quality on show from either side."That's not the best game we've seen at this World Cup," admitted Drogba."I think Uruguay were happy to win 1-0 today, but I think they will improve."Phil Neville was also on BBC's commentary team for the match, and he fancies Uruguay to go far this year."I do fancy them in this tournament," said Neville."They've got a lot of good players with a lot of experience, and for a lot of them it could be their last chance at a World Cup."But Neville may have possibly made the silliest comment out of any co-commentator or pundit during this World Cup.

"The fans were telling us before the game they're not bothered how they play, what kind of style or system they play, all they're bothered about is winning and progressing through further than what they've ever done before."

That was Neville talking about the two-time World Cup winners Uruguay, who can't go any further than they've been before because they've already reached the pinnacle of the tournament.

Unbelievable from a footballing 'expert' - and football fans took to Twitter to lambast the former England international.

Let's hope Neville doesn't make any more silly comments in the next few weeks to spare himself from any further embarrassment in-front of a global audience.
