WWE's NXT TakeOver: Chicago II event took place last Saturday before Money in the Bank, and one of the most loved matches from the show was that of Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream.

Many WWE fans were excited to see this match happen, as the build-up to it in the weeks beforehand with the promos from both Ricochet and Dream on NXT had been phenomenal. Their build-up even included The One and Only performing a fantastic front flip out of the ring.

Their match at NXT TakeOver: Chicago lived up to expectation, as both superstars were exceptional in the ring, with The Vainglorious One showing he's an enigmatic and eccentric heel, while Ricochet showed off his high-flying abilities once more.

The contest finished with The One and Only hitting a 630º senton on Dream to score the win. Overall, the match was awesome, but one WWE fan noticed something pretty cool about the opening exchanges in the contest and told the world about it on Reddit.

RogerGunz on Reddit noticed that after rewatching Ricochet vs Dream that the opening 5-10 minutes of the match is the same as the opening 5-10 minutes of The Rock vs Hulk Hogan from WrestleMania 18.

This included the staredown, to the test of strength, to the shoves to the mat and the taunts that followed. This was, beat by beat, the same as Rock vs Hogan. Even the arm slaps that Dream does to himself were the same.

Many fans did notice that Dream was channeling his inner Hulkster, as his orange and yellow outfit was very similar to something that Hogan might wear, and he even flexed like Hogan at points during the match, but fans never knew the similarities in the match went to this extent.

Both Ricochet and Dream are two of the most promising talents in WWE's NXT division today, and many fans believe if they were called up to the main roster tomorrow they would be a success.

Their match at NXT TakeOver: Chicago proves it's only a matter of time before both of them are called up to the main roster to take their careers to new heights.
