A number of days have passed since Big Cass was shockingly released by WWE.

The decision appeared to come out of nowhere - just days after the "Seven-Footer" concluded his feud with Daniel Bryan at Money in the Bank.

However, despite taking everyone by surprise, if you look a little deeper, it actually appears that this had been coming for some time.

A BUILD-UP OF PROBLEMS

It's been reported that it wasn't just one big thing the led to Cass being released by the company, but rather a build-up of multiple problems.

Part of that was his apparent bad attitude, which rubbed management and other superstars the wrong way - and of course, there was the now infamous segment with a little person.

On one episode of SmackDown Live, Cass laid a beatdown to the person, dressed as Bryan.

But it's since been revealed that he was only supposed to hit one finisher, not go on a crazed attack.

On top of that, the former superstar was also apparently drunk on WWE's European Tour, which is never a good look for his employer.

But we knew all that. Now though, even more information has come to light - and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com has revealed exactly what may have tipped WWE over the edge.

NEW INFORMATION

According to Meltzer, per NoDQ, Cass blew off rehearsal for his big promo that aired on the June 5 edition of SmackDown.

Apparently, TV producer Kevin Dunn has specifically asked him to rehearse - and after he didn't, Cass actually went on far too long.

And the promo sunk. It really was terrible.

In fact, Vince McMahon hated it so much, that he fired the writer of it soon after. So, it appears that it's not just Cass who's been given the boot in recent weeks.

Meltzer also said, that as a whole, WWE have been unimpressed with how Cass has worked his feud with Bryan.

So as already noted, it's a combination of things, not just one, that led to his eventual release from WWE - but it's clear what may have pushed him over the edge.
