SummerSlam is always one of the biggest WWE pay-per-views of the year - and 2018 will be no different.
Even though it’s still over two months away, there's already been a big match rumoured to close the show.
RUMOURED MAIN EVENT
According to multiple reports, Brock Lesnar will be making his long-awaited return in Brooklyn - where he’ll defend his Universal Championship.
The Beast hasn’t been seen since the Greatest Royal Rumble in April, so it’s about time he put that title on the line.
To the delight of most WWE fans, it's also suggested that Lesnar will be dropping the title - possibly to Roman Reigns, who's expected to be his opponent in the main event.
This, although better than having The Beast as the champion, still probably won't be cheered by WWE fans - especially in New York.
So it's believed that Braun Strowman could cash in his Money in the Bank title shot on the night - and walk out of SummerSlam as the new Universal Champion.
But even if that does happen - the main event could be overshadowed by a huge comeback as recent reports are suggesting that a WWE legend is going to return in August.
THE MASSIVE RETURN
According to the Twitter account Wrestling Votes, one of their sources has revealed that The Undertaker has been presented with a storyline - and a match, for SummerSlam.
They explained that the fact he's working a show at Madison Square Garden in July and another in October is a good sign for his Brooklyn comeback.
Furthermore, the idea that WWE have suggested to him was also one that 'Taker was pushing for at one point - so that could also tempt him to work it.
Judging by that information - all signs point towards The Phenom making an appearance at SummerSlam.
It will also be very interesting to see who his opponent will be - especially if it's a match he was once pushing for.
Shawn Michaels and 'Taker returning on the same night, anyone?
