Tyson Fury's comeback fight earlier this month rather predictably turned into a bit of a farce, as the 29-year-old former world champion easily overcame Sefer Seferi after four rounds.

Albanian Seferi looked a long way off the pace and struggled to match up to Fury even with his opponent seemingly more interested in showboating to the crowd than fighting.

Among other outlandish actions from the self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King', Fury tried the interesting tactic of kissing his opponent during the pre-fight head-to-head.

Whether this will have had any effect on Seferi's performance is unclear, but it certainly was a bold move from Fury and has drawn criticism from potential future opponents, including current WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

Wilder responded to the incident almost immediately taking to Twitter to take a pop at Fury's unusual pre-fight action.

"Bruh is that you @Tyson_Fury giving out wedding kisses right before a fight? You may kiss the Bride Face Azz ‼️

P.s. ... Never Mind🤦🏿‍♂️
I’ll just pray... 🙇🏿‍♂️#BombZquad #Wild’N"

Wilder recently spoke to Behind The Gloves to further suggest that the whole incident was a staged occurrence to build the fight up.

"What in the hell is he doing? You seen that was, see they are such bad actors.

"You can tell everything was played out, everything was already agreed, it was such a big stage you can tell.

"And I would never allow no man to make me stage to kiss you in the middle of the ring with all those people watching.

"They did a wedding kiss, he leaned in and he leaned over to kiss him, oh man.

"Hey, whatever, whatever makes you happy - you keep on kissing 'em."

There never seems to be a dull moment in the Tyson Fury story and this is just the latest example of the Manchester man's showboating antics.

Whether a more serious opponent would have allowed Fury to get away with such an audacious move is another matter.

I suspect that if Wilder had been the man on the other side of the ring, Fury might have been tasting leather before fight bell rang.
