It was perhaps the worst-kept secret in WWE, but last week the company officially announced that Australia is set to receive its own super show in October.

Following in the footsteps of the highly-successful Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the WWE will be looking to sell out the 100,000 capacity inside MCG in Melbourne.

SUPER SHOW-DOWN

So far, only one match has been announced where The Undertaker will go one on one for the very last time against Triple H, while some huge names are advertised to appear.

As usual, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Ronda Rousey seem to be the focal points of the poster for Super Show-Down, and it's clear that they're going t feature in some big matches.

Earlier this week, however, fans were quick to notice two intriguing things about the poster which possibly made the future of two popular superstars a lot clearer in WWE.

First off, fans were excited that Daniel Bryan had been announced for the show in Melbourne.

The interesting thing about him being advertised is that his WWE contract expires in September, leading many to believe that he's going to be sticking around.

Although he hasn't signed a new deal as of yet, the expectation is that he will remain with WWE, so they went ahead and advertised him.

With Brock Lesnar, though, it's a different situation.

MISSING

WWE wasted no time in advertising The Beast for the Greatest Royal Rumble but, as of this writing, Lesnar still hasn't been announced for Super Show-Down.

So, it comes as no surprise that fans are now anticipating that Lesnar will drop the Universal Championship before that date - potentially at SummerSlam - and then leave the WWE to return to the UFC.

However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that this might not be the case entirely.

Although Lesnar could always extend his current deal or sign a new one, it's being claimed that Lesnar, right now, has one date left on his current WWE contract.

According to Rajah, the reason WWE has decided not to advertise Lesnar is because he would be 'extremely unhappy' about the WWE announcing him for a date he's not agreed to working.

If this happens, then there's a chance Lesnar could use this to turn it into a lot of leverage in negotiations.

With Bryan, on the other hand, the WWE doesn't feel that would be the case.

A great deal has been made about Lesnar and his lucrative deal with the WWE, and it seems highly unlikely that Vince McMahon would genuinely want to irritate one of his most significant investments.

So, while Lesnar's future seems to be up in the air right now, him not being advertised for Super Show-Down doesn't necessarily mean he's on his way out just yet.
