Although backstage heat on WWE superstars can eventually wear off when they're out of the doghouse, that didn't seem to be the case for Big Cass this week. The former NXT star has rightfully dominated the headlines after a plethora of speculated incidents resulted in Vince McMahon firing him just hours before SmackDown LIVE.

BACKSTAGE HEAT

One of the incidents which reportedly saw him receive his marching orders was the controversial SmackDown segment with the Daniel Bryan impersonator when he went against Vince's direct orders not to attack him after a Big Boot.

Despite that, it was thought that he'd eventually get back in the good books - but now it looks as if another superstar could be in the doghouse based on comments made on social media recently.

As we saw at Money in the Bank, Alexa Bliss cashed-in her contract to leave as the new RAW Women's Champion, much to the chagrin of Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey.

With Jax seemingly a face again, her focus has turned to her WrestleMania 34 opponent while the former UFC star is suspended for 30 days.

However, The Irresistible Force sent out a somewhat controversial tweet which many claim is in poor taste, and it's reportedly landed her in hot water, per WrestlingNews.co.

On Friday morning, she tweeted: "For someone that doesn't care what anyone thinks it's weird they have to go out and get a tattoo that says they're enough."

The tweet is believed to be about Bliss showing off her 'I am enough' tattoo, which is in reference to her real-life struggles, such as overcoming anorexia.

CONTROVERSY

WWE has used real-life situations and turned them into storylines before, and they are friends outside of the ring so this could all very well be a work.

However, the source is claiming that this might not be the case on this occasion.

The source has added that they were told WWE management saw the tweet Nia had sent out, and there is now reportedly heat on her for her comments.

Readers have also pointed out that they no longer follow each other on Twitter, which again, could be a work and nothing more.

Some outlets have already gone as far as stating that Jax crossed a line with her tweet, whether it's a work or not, so it will be no surprise if her comments have landed her in hot water.

This isn't anything new in WWE as it's happened plenty of times over the years, such as Lio Rush when Emma was released, so it'll be interesting to see how this one unfolds.
