Ipswich boss Roy Keane has confirmed a second club has joined Premier League side Stoke in the race for deposed captain Jon Walters.

Walters has been told he will never play under Keane again after requesting a move from Portman Road and should be on his way before the end of the month.

Keane told the club's official website: "We had another bid from a club on Friday. Everyone keeps talking about Stoke but another club has made an offer and we are in talks."

"Jon's reaction to me taking the captaincy from him was very disappointing and it's best now if he moves on."
