It’s coming home, isn’t it?

England made it two wins out of two against Panama with an impressive 6-1 victory to go top of Group G.

The Three Lions have now qualified for the last-16 and will do battle with Belgium to decided which side finishes top.

That challenge will no doubt be considerably tougher for England than what they faced against Panama.

Two penalties from Harry Kane, and a headed brace from John Stones and a Jesse Lingard pearler put them 5-0 ahead at half-time.

Kane flukily sealed his hat-trick in the second-half before Panama pulled one back with 12 minutes remaining.

While the England defenders might not be too happy at failing to keep a clean sheet, England fans were loving it.

It’s certainly a very likable squad and, although his appointment was underwhelming, manager Southgate has the backing of everyone.

Southgate took the job in bizarre circumstances following Sam Allardyce’s sacking after just one match after an undercover sting.

What could have been for Big Sam.

So what was he doing while Southgate was leading the team to a massive victory in Russia?

He was sitting in a pub, eating a Big Mac that he had brought in from outside, apparently…

Footage of Allardyce is going viral which appears to be during the England game as he sits by himself eating a burger.

According to the Mirror, he was actually taking part in a promotional event for bookmakers William Hill.

Allardyce was pictured playing pool with Robbie Savage at the Lord Raglan pub in London earlier in the day.

And he obviously fancied a Big Mac after finishing his duties and caught the match.

Despite the explanation, football fans still mocked him mercilessly:

Poor bloke.

With the way he was dismissed, you do have to feel sorry for him - despite the reaction from the majority of England fans.
