One of the next big UFC fights this year hasn't even been booked yet, as Colby Covington will likely face Tyron Woodley at some point for the UFC Welterweight Championship.

Covington earned his shot vs Woodley when he won the interim UFC Welterweight Championship by defeating Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 225 earlier this month.

Immediately after his win, Chaos started targetting The Chosen One in his press interviews in preparation ahead of their likely upcoming fight, and in a recent interview, he showed he still had his foot on the pedal.

Sending you to sleep for good

Speaking on a recent episode of The MMA Hour, Covington said that when he finally meets Woodley inside the Octagon, he's ready to send the UFC Welterweight Champion 'to sleep for good.'

He said, according to MMA Fighting: “Tyquil, there’s nowhere else to run. There’s nowhere else to hide. What you gonna do now? No more rap albums.

"I know all the people hate me, but if you really want to hate me, go look on Google and try to listen to this dude rap. That’s why he’s trying to come fight. That’s why he’s begging to fight me now, because his rap album is failing.

"He’s got baby mamas to pay. That dude is a joke, man. His B-list acting career that goes straight to DVD, it is no more. Don’t worry, Tyquil. I’m sending you to sleep for good, motherf*cker.”

When The Chosen One and Chaos do finally meet inside the Octagon, UFC fans will have a real grudge match on their hands, and hopefully, in turn, this will produce some fantastic MMA.

The two men trained together before at American Top Team, sessions which have been well documented by both fighters in their trash talking immediately after UFC 225.

Covington has said that Woodley has never taken a round off him when the two trained together, while The Chosen One has accused Chaos of lying, saying this isn't the case.

Ultimately, when the two do meet inside the Octagon in the UFC, the interim UFC Welterweight Champion believes the fight will be over quickly.

He said: “He’s a little two-pump chump. He won’t last more than two rounds.”
