WWE Live events can be some of the most exciting shows that the company put on.

As they aren't televised, there's a chance for the stars to let loose and have some fun.

Often, a live show also gives the audience a chance to see some dream matchups that they won't see on SmackDown or RAW.

That's something that will happen at Madison Square Garden on July 7, when WWE Live returns to New York.

MSG MATCHES

In the main event of that show, The Undertaker will be teaming up with Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, they'll be taking on Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and Elias. And that is something that will probably never happen again.

Of course, that match proves just how good live wrestling events can be. But, this weekend, Drew McIntyre proved that sometimes, things can go wrong.

Very, very wrong.

WWE ANAHEIM'S MAIN EVENT

On Sunday night, WWE came to Anaheim and the main event saw Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre take on Seth Rollins and Reigns.

During that match, something crazy happened. According to Wrestling Inc, about five minutes in, McIntyre went to use the ring rope for momentum - as wrestlers do in almost every match.

But this time, the top rope snapped - and it sent "The Sinister Scotsman" falling out of the ring to the floor.

Wow. That would have been pretty shocking to witness.

Thankfully, McIntyre was absolutely fine - and as it didn't happen on TV, those left in the ring did the right thing and let him recover.

After he got back to his feet, the match continued in bizarre fashion, with the top rope being waist hight at most for those wrestling.

Even under strange conditions, Rollins and Reigns picked up the win against Ziggler and McIntyre as they gave the fans in attendance a good match.

The whole incident just goes to show that things can go wrong in WWE - and next time, they will be making sure to keep the top rope as tight as possible.
