Chelsea's managerial situation is still not officially sorted.

Antonio Conte's days have looked numbered for some time now and it would be a huge surprise if the Italian is in charge come the start of the 2018/19 season.

And there's only one name that is being touted as his successor; fellow countryman Maurizio Sarri.

He's made quite a name for himself at Napoli, with his exciting style of football nearly earning the Neapolitans their first Serie A title since the Diego Maradona era.

A workaholic capable of bringing out the best in the players at his disposal, Sarri could be the perfect man to make Chelsea title challengers once again.

And it turns out he's prepared to take some pretty extreme measures upon his arrival.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Sarri will begin his time at the club by actually living at the training ground in Cobham.

From there he will begin remoulding the squad in his own image and he's expected to finally put pen to paper on a two-year deal in the next 24 hours.

We've never heard of commitment quite like that. According to the report, there is actually a house inside the base, so Sarri at least won't be sleeping in his office.

If any fans of the club were wondering what kind of manager they will be getting, this really is the perfect portrayal of him

Chelsea are keen for Sarri to get involved in the transfer market as soon as possible, with the Blues yet to sell or buy any players so far.

They've been heavily linked with a number of Serie A players already in Juventus' Daniele Rugani, Napoli's Dries Mertens and Inter Milan's Matias Vecino.

There has also been talk of a huge £100m deal for Robert Lewandowski, but the club may be wary to spend that big after his performances at the World Cup.

His biggest task will be trying to keep Eden Hazard away from Real Madrid.
