Colombia have well and truly arrived at the World Cup.

After a difficult 2-1 loss to Japan following Carlos Sanchez's early red card, the South American nation were back to their brilliant best vs Poland.

The Colombian's turned in arguably the performance of the tournament so far, beating the European side 3-0 and condemning them to elimination.

James Rodriguez was a cut above the rest as Radamel Falaco scored his first ever World Cup goal at 32.

Juan Cuadrado scored a brilliant goal on the counter, but Colombia's first came from an unlikely source in Barcelona's Yerry Mina.

Well, we say unlikely, but the towering centre-back has scored four times in 13 appearances for his country.

His header from Rodriguez's delightful ball was impressive, with Mina and Davinson Sanchez keeping Robert Lewandowski very quiet.

But how did Mina's performance go down in Barcelona, where he's been ridiculed since his January move from Palmeiras?

Sadly, not too good.

As reported by Catalan publication Sport, Barca gained a lot of optimism from his performance, but only because they believe it will add to his transfer value.

Regardless if he performs for the rest of the World Cup, the Blaugrana will look to sell the 23-year-old for a fee over €20m.

His departure will free up a non-EU spot in their squad, which they want vacant in order to bring in Gremio's Arthur this summer.

However, the report states that Barca are not focused on that technicality, they're simply not impressed with Mina overall.

During his few games with the club, he has looked out of place and his performance in the 5-4 loss to Levante attracted attention for all the wrong reasons.

Barca want better backup options for Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti, with Sevilla's Clement Lenglet being heavily linked with the club.

You kind of feel sorry for Mina, but maybe jumping ship this summer would be the best option for him.

Liverpool are thought to be interested...
