Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United looks far from certain.

The 25-year-old midfielder is currently starring for France at the World Cup following a difficult season under Jose Mourinho.

Pogba became Man United's club-record signing in 2016 but was dropped to the bench last season on a number of occasions.

Speaking ahead of France's final World Cup group game against Denmark, Pogba admitted that he's had issues with Mourinho.

"It was a better season than the previous one," said Pogba, as per Sky Sports.

"It was an experience. There were some small issues with [Mourinho], but they were nothing in the end.

"Being a substitute, that sort of thing, it helps you to grow. I have to accept it."

PSG make offer for Pogba

Pogba was born and raised on the outskirts of Paris and is regularly linked with a move to the Ligue 1 champions.

According to The Sun, Man United have received a tempting offer from PSG for their skilful midfielder.

PSG have reportedly offered the Red Devils a player plus cash deal involving highly-rated central midfielder Marco Verratti.

The Sun suggest that PSG would also consider a cash-only deal for the 25-year-old Italian, who has spent six seasons in the French capital.

Earlier reports had claimed that Verratti was on the brink of signing a new long-term contract at the Parc des Princes.

However, the chance to bring in the marquee signing of Pogba would be seen as a forward step in bringing about Champions League glory.

Verratti, who is renowned across Europe for his creativity and technical ability, would be a popular signing at Old Trafford.

If not Verratti, there's going to be some fresh faces in the heart of United's midfield next season.

Man United have already splashed out £52m on Brazilian midfielder Fred but Mourinho reportedly wants to continue bolstering his central midfield options.

Michael Carrick retired this summer and Belgium international Marouane Fellaini is expected to leave the club as a free agent.

Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester but they're reportedly facing competition from Juventus and Real Madrid.
