Manchester United have agreed a ground-breaking contract with Hong Kong-based telecommunications giant PCCW to become the official broadcaster of MUTV in the territory.

The three-year deal will ensure United content is available on all PCCW platforms, including website and mobile, which the club feel will be the first step towards maximising revenue while maintaining solidarity with the Premier League's centrally-agreed television contracts.

"It is a terrific service," said manager Sir Alex Ferguson. "The club has fantastic support in Hong Kong and this partnership means that many of those fans can keep up to date with what is going on at United wherever they are."
