Excitement is building around Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's side were one of the most entertaining sides in Europe last campaign where he took his side to a Champions League final.

And it seems there's even more to come next season.

Klopp has already completed the signing of Fabinho in a £39 million move from Monaco.

But while there is a lot of excitement for the Brazilian, Liverpool fans are most looking forward to seeing Naby Keita at Anfield.

Klopp completed that particular signing in September last year, but he will officially become a Liverpool player on 1 July.

And the Guinean has just sent an Instagram message to Liverpool fans.

Keita simply wrote: "Let’s get it started #YNWA", accompanied with a picture of him in a Liverpool shirt in his youth.

It really is time to get excited, Liverpool fans.

It's not just Liverpool fans that are excited about his impending arrival.

Sadio Mane played with Keita when the two were at FC Red Bull Salzburg, and he stated just last week that he will bring a lot to Liverpool.

“I know him well," Mane said, per Liverpool Echo. "He’s more than a friend, he’s a brother.

"We already played with each at RB Salzburg [in 2014]. We often speak on the phone. He’ll be very welcome.

"He’s a talented player who’s going to bring a lot to Liverpool."

And Klopp promised shortly after signing him in September that he will be well worth the wait.

“I have contact with a lot of people in the Bundesliga, how you can imagine, and I have never got so many ‘Congratulations’ messages like after we said in public that we signed Naby,” Klopp said.

“He is the player of the league. Last year, together with Thiago Alcantara, who played an outstanding season for Bayern, he was the flier.

“He has been doing that already for two or three years in different leagues. He is still a very young boy. So that’s really good news.

“OK, we have to wait but sometimes you have to wait for a really good thing.

"I have no problem with this; how you can imagine, I would have preferred another situation but that’s not a problem. It’s cool.”
