The Pittsburgh Steelers could have one of the deadliest offenses in the NFL, but it likely will take some time to get going if Le'Veon Bell sits out most of training camp again after being placed on the franchise tag.Bell skipped last year's training camp as a sign of protest, and he's hinted at a similar plan in 2018 if he's bound to the tag. However, the running back has been clear that he doesn't want the tag and would prefer a lengthier deal with the Steelers or, if push comes to shove, another team.

Let's get this ring

One player that doesn't want to see Bell leave though is the 26-year-old's teammate on offense, wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Brown has been encouraging Bell to sign a new deal by sending the running back a four-word message. Addressing him by his nickname 'Juice' in a tweet, he said: "Let's get this ring."

Bell has only been to the playoffs twice since the Steelers drafted him in 2013, and he is yet to make an appearance in the Super Bowl. Brown wants him to stay around so they can achieve the ultimate goal together.

The running back has alluded towards progress being made in his contract negotiations with an interesting post recently on his Instagram account. The Steelers have until July 16 to sign Bell to an extension.

Pittsburgh was knocked out of last season's playoffs by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round. If they want to go further next season, it would certainly help to have Bell in training camp as much as they can.

The running back wants to be in camp this year too and not repeat the events of last year. However, he's made it clear that he's not afraid to repeat his actions if his future isn't secure once more.

Bell said, via ESPN: "When you're not in there in camp, minicamp, OTAs and things like that, they find different rhythms with different backs in there -- whatever player they put in that spot that I would be in. I've got to find a way to get back quicker.

"I don't want to have ... what happened last year. If it came down to it, then I've got to do what I've gotta do, take my stand and protect myself. But I don't want to have to do that. I want to go to camp and play for the Steelers long-term."
