When Ronda Rousey made her first WWE appearance at the Royal Rumble back in January, fans weren't sure just how far she would go in the company.

It's fair to say then, five months into her run, that the former UFC star has perhaps exceeded expectations.

ROUSEY'S RUN

Her first match came at WrestleMania 34 when she teamed up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

It was her part in that bout that was arguably more impressive than the showing from Angle and HHH - and she picked up the win by locking in an Armbar on McMahon.

Following that, she competed in her first singles match at Money in the Bank - taking on RAW Women's Champion Nia Jax.

Rousey put on another good show then - proving that she can compete with those already in the title picture.

IMPROVING HER ACTING

But it's not just all about how she performs physically in the ring, because another big part of being a WWE superstar is acting and selling.

Again, Rousey seems to be improving in both of those aspects - and it already looks like she's got the tools to become a top wrestler.

IMPRESSING HER COLLEAGUES

In fact, Rousey's made such a promising start to her WWE career, that she's been impressing a number of other wrestlers on the female roster, including Charlotte.

The Queen has actually admitted that she's been "blown away" by Ronda's start - and that's something that would have made even "Rowdy" Roddy Piper proud.

"I'm blown away. How fast she has picked everything up, especially with her match against Nia Jax at Money in the Bank," Charlotte said, per Wrestling Inc.

"I know my dad texted her and said the same thing, just Roddy Pipper would be so proud of her.

"She gets better every time she's out there and it doesn't look like she's going to slow down at any point," the SmackDown Live star continued, before making a bold prediction.

"I know she will become the Raw women's champion at some point and it's an honor to have her part of our division. She's blown my mind with how fast she's picked this up."

Those are high words of praise from Charlotte - and they prove just how well Rousey has done so far. Hopefully, she can keep up the good work.
