Terry Skiverton is set to welcome Dean Bowditch and Andy Welsh back into the Yeovil starting XI for Saturday's visit of Hartlepool.

Striker Bowditch is poised to return after missing last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Bristol Rovers, while midfielder Welsh is available for the first time this season.

Skiverton told the club's official website: "Dean is fit and we have a strong squad to pick from as Andy Welsh is back as well.

"He is a real handful on his day, especially at home and we are looking forward to them coming back.

Midfielder JP Kalala is unavailable as he is serving the first game of a three-match ban after receiving a straight red card against Rovers.

Hartlepool caretaker boss Mick Wadsworth will be without Neil Austin.

The right-back remains sidelined with the ankle ligament injury he sustained against Rochdale on the opening day of the season.

Ritchie Humphreys is nearing a return from a long-standing Achilles injury after playing 45 minutes for the reserves in a 2-0 win against Lincoln in midweek, but he is unlikely to feature against the Glovers as he is still lacking match fitness.

Fabian Yantorno, who came on as a second-half substitute against Swindon last weekend, should be involved despite suffering a back strain in the pre-match warm-up of the second-string game against the Imps.
