Jordan Pickford is an England hero. The Everton goalkeeper was criticised for the role he played in Adnan Januzaj’s goal for Belgium in England’s final group match - but he certainly made amends against Colombia.Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois questioned him for conceding Januzaj's goal by saying: “The goalkeeper is 10cm smaller than me. I would have caught it. He was too busy throwing his legs in the air.”It left Pickford going into England’s last-16 clash with Colombia with a few questions to answer. And boy did he answer them.If it wasn’t for Yerry Mina’s header from the resulting corner, everyone would be talking about Pickford’s incredible fingertip save from Mateus Uribe’s wonder strike in injury-time to preserve England's 1-0 lead. While that save was pretty worthless in the end, Pickford was the hero during the penalty shootout saving Carlos Bacca’s effort after Uribe had previously struck the crossbar.England had won a World Cup penalty shootout and the scenes on the pitch were brilliant. The players stood on the halfway line and sprinted to congratulate both Eric Dier, who had just sent them through to the quarter-finals, and Pickford. But Pickford had a plan.As the England players ran towards him and Dier, the ‘keeper decided to produce a Ronaldo ‘Siiiii!’ celebration. This involves him jumping up into the air, spinning around, bringing your arms down to your side and shouting ‘Siiiii!’When Cristiano does it, it looks spectacular.

PICKFORD'S CELEBRATION

When Pickford does it…Well, just take a look:

ENGLAND FANS LOVED IT

Pretty hilarious.

After his penalty heroics, Pickford appeared to hit back at Courtois for mocking his height.

"I did all my research. I've got power and agility. I don't care if I'm not the biggest keeper because it's about being there in the moment and making the save and I was," Pickford said.

"It's all about the set position and I got a hand to it. We knew we had this game, even if it had to go to penalties, we knew we were capable of winning."
