After an offseason shrouded in mystery surrounding two Patriots stars, it seems like both are fully committed to the cause ahead of another title push in 2018. Tom Brady is expected to take full part in training camp, pushing aside any concerns that the five-time Super Bowl champ would look to retire, whilst his number one weapon in the passing game is also fully on board again. So, Patriots fans can finally relax and look forward to another deep postseason run. All Pro Tight End Rob Gronkowski looked at one point like he'd step away from the game, before being included in a number of trade rumours at various stages this offseason. However, the effervescent play maker is now fully committed to another grinding season in New England, and he seems like he's raring to go and make an impact on the field. Gronkowski has missed most of the Pats' offseason programme but he's back for training camp and he seems more excited than ever to be a part of the team. The 29-year-old is in fine shape though, and has been working out on his own away from the team for most of the time as it is. "I'm super excited about the upcoming season," he told NFL Network's Wille McGinnest. "It's going to be fun. We've got another year, another training camp. Always a grind. Gotta get yourself through that. Just excited for the season, man.

"You know how it goes. Another year down. You know what to expect now going into year nine. You know how to do it. I kind of feel like that's always good to have in the back of your mind. You know how it goes down. You know what to do. So I'm super excited for this year."

It also seems like a little break from the team to consider his future and focus on his own body has helped him, with the five-time Pro Bowler admitting that he's coming back this year feeling refreshed and excited.

"I am refreshed," Gronkowski added. "You know after the season, long seasons, how your body can feel and everything. I just wanted to see where I was at, and see how I can get my body feeling, see if I can handle it, endure it again, and I feel like I'm super ready, man."

His contract situation is still up in the air, but it's a huge relief to the organisation to have him back and ready to light up opponents again in 2018.
