Arsenal target Emmanuel Riviere has admitted he would love a move to the North London club, despite interest from his home country.
The French under 21 international has been watched by Arsene Wenger’s scouts recently, amidst reports the Gunners are interested in bringing him to England.
Lyon and Marseille also want to capture the St Etienne forward, while Italian giants Juventus are also monitoring his situation.
Riviere, though, has insisted the Premier League would be his favoured destination and Arsenal a club he likes.
He said: “Arsenal would really be the jewel in the crown for me. They play a fast-moving, attacking style of football, and they're always shooting on goal. It's fantastic.
"I respect Thierry Henry for who he is, he has always inspired me,” who has drawn comparisons with the French master during his fledgling career.
Having helped to keep St Etienne in Ligue 1 last season with eight goals in just 19 games, Riviere signed a new deal but his club may be willing to let him move on and cash in.
