Next Sunday, the WWE roster can go crazy for one night only at Extreme Rules in Pittsburgh.

The card for July’s pay-per-view is almost set - and it’s completely stacked.

SINGLES MATCHES

We already know that nine matches have been confirmed - and seven of them will have a title on the line.

AJ Styles defends his WWE Championship against Rusev, while Carmella aims to keep her SmackDown Women’s title from Asuka.

Nia Jax has a chance to get revenge on Alexa Bliss in an Extreme Rules match for the RAW Women’s Championship, while Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler will battle in a 30-minute Iron Man match for the Intercontinental title.

Jeff Hardy defends the US Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura and there are also two singles matches with nothing but pride on the line.

Roman Reigns takes on Bobby Lashley, while Finn Balor meets Baron Corbin.

Along with all those battles, there are also two tag team matches on the card.

TAG TEAM PLANS

Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy will be defending the RAW titles against The B-Team, while SD's Bludgeon Brothers defend their belts against Team Hell No.

According to reports, there was a big plan surrounding the latter match.

Wrestling Inc reported that The Miz would interfere in Team Hell No's match against The Bludgeon Brothers, which would lead to Daniel Bryan facing him at SummerSlam.

The pair's rivalry dates back a very long time - and that feud is something that WWE fans have been looking forward to for a while.

But now, it may not go ahead as planned - because The Miz will be missing Extreme Rules.

WHY THE MIZ WON'T BE IN PITTSBURGH

Instead of interfering at the PPV, The Awesome One will be taking part in the MLB All-Star celebrity softball game on July 15 instead.

Now, that game is being played at 4pm in Washington DC - over 200 miles away from the PPG Paints Arena, where Extreme Rules is being held later that night.

It's highly unlikely then, that The Miz will be making an appearance in Pittsburgh, meaning WWE may have to halt plans with him and Bryan, at least for now.
