The enigma that is Josh Gordon is readying itself for a full time NFL comeback.

The dynamic receiver has featured in just five games since 2014 due to a litany of off field issues, all of which came at the back end of last season, but he finally seems to be on track for a full year of football in 2018.

Gordon has been a full participant in offseason activities and his teammates certainly see the dominant playmaker of old coming out raring to go.

Gordon will form part of what could be one of the league's best receiving corps, lining up alongside high profile free agent acquisition Jarvis Landry, 2016 first round pick Corey Coleman, and promising talent Antonio Callaway.

And, Landry has been mightily impressed by the former All Pro thus far.

The former Dolphins wideout has witnessed Gordon's freakish ability first hand this summer, and has sung his praises ahead of training camp.

"The size that he has and his ability to be able to get in and out of cuts, I think that's one of the most impressive things I've recognized and noticed about him," Landry said Thursday on The Jim Rome Show.

"The more he continues to hone in on that and grow as far as in route running, listen, the kid's unstoppable." he added.

Gordon is one of the most naturally gifted receivers to grace the NFL over the last decade and without his flurry of suspensions, his career numbers would be frankly ridiculous.

In 2013, he put up 1,646 receiving yards in 14 games, a feat that only nine players in the history of the NFL have ever bettered in a single season: Calvin Johnson, Jerry Rice, Antonio Brown, Isaac Bruce, Charley Hennigan, Marvin Harrison, Torry Holt, and Herman Moore.

He is a supreme athlete, standing at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds and blessed with 4.52 forty speed, and he stands out immediately to anyone that plays with or against him.

In complimentary terms he's a freak, and the Browns offense will get a major boost with a fully focused and firing Gordon on side.

And, given that all his previous production has come under a list of underwhelming quarterbacks, the 27-year-old could be even more prolific with Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield tossing him the rock.

It's a scary thought for defensive backs around the league, and it'll be a joy to watch Gordon getting back on the field making incredible plays week by week again when the season kicks off.
