Man Utd fans react to seeing 'leaked' images of their new kit for the 18/19 season

Manchester United v Huddersfield Town - Premier League

The World Cup might be reaching its climax but Premier League clubs are turning their attention to the upcoming season.

While England take on Sweden in their World Cup quarter-final, some clubs will be playing pre-season friendlies.

After all, the Premier League campaign kicks off in just five weeks time.

The transfer market may have been put momentary on hold due to the tournament in Russia, but clubs are doing their best to make sure their pre-season is as normal as possible despite the absence of some of their best players.

Manchester United will get the Premier League season underway with a match against Leicester on Friday 10 August at Old Trafford.

Despite that curtain-raiser being less than five weeks away, United still haven’t officially announced their new home shirt of the season.

Many clubs announced their kits before the end of last season and then wear them in their final match.

But not the Red Devils.

Fans are still wondering what their new shirt will look like.

Well, wonder no more.

Footy Headlines - who are renowned for revealing new kits before they are officially announced - believe they’ve found United’s new home kit.

The images show that the top and socks will both have black stripes around them.

Jose Mourinho’s side are getting rid of their traditional white shorts in favour of a black pair.

And it’s fair to say the kit hasn’t gone down well with United fans.

Check out the reaction on social media:

Now we know what United’s home shirt looks like but which players will be wearing it?

Will Anthony Martial still be around to don the jersey for the clash against Leicester on August 10?

And will there be a marquee signing making his first appearance in the new attire?
