WWE are now just eight nights away from their Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

This week's SmackDown and RAW will be "go-home" shows - and should be used to build up to the matches taking place next Sunday.

A STACKED CARD

And they won't be short of storylines either, because the Extreme Rules card is stacked.

There are currently nine matches on the show - so don't expect any more to be made on Monday and Tuesday.

Seven of those battles will be over a championship belt too.

AJ Styles, Alexa Bliss, Dolph Ziggler, Carmella, Jeff Hardy, The Bludgeon Brothers and The Deleters of Worlds will all be defending their titles.

Rusev, Nia Jax, Seth Rollins, Asuka, Shinsuke Nakamura, Team Hell No and The B-Team will be their respective challengers.

Both the champions and their rivals will have one final chance to build momentum ahead of Sunday.

But if recent reports are to be believed, there could be another superstar getting some airtime on RAW this week.

A BIG INJURY RETURN

According to Ringside News, rumours are building around Jason Jordan's return, because he's been spotted backstage and making a number of WWE appearances recently.

He could return to programming this Monday, after almost five months of injury hiatus.

Although Ringside News are speculating his return, they have also mentioned that Jordan returning on a "go-home" show is unlikely.

There would be very little point of him doing so, especially as he doesn't really fit into any feud, but it's not impossible.

JORDAN'S PLANS

If he doesn't make a return on Monday, then it's highly likely he will be appearing just a week later, following Extreme Rules.

Even then, it's not clear what plans WWE have for one of the stars they were heavily pushing before his injury.

Since February, the landscape of RAW has been changed, so it's not like Jordan can seamlessly slide into any feud.

However, seeing how WWE do integrate him back into programming will be very exciting. We're just hoping this time he won't be tagging with Rollins.
