For so many years, WWE was at the absolute peak of the pro-wrestling industry.

Performers would make it their lifelong goal to one day join the roster and work under Vince McMahon.

Arguably, that's still true today, but there are also other promotions, away from WWE, where wrestlers can make a living.

THE RISE OF NJPW

One of the best brands in the world right now is NJPW. In fact, they boast some of the best wrestlers on the planet.

The likes of Kenny Omega, Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks all wrestle in Japan and they'd all give WWE's best a run for their money.

In fact, they've gained such a following in Asia that there are constant rumours suggesting that McMahon is interested in signing a few of them.

THE BULLET CLUB

Omega and The Young Bucks are the names that have been linked with joining WWE for a long time now.

Arguably, given that the likes of Finn Balor, AJ Styles, who are both former members of the Bullet Club, have already made that transition, it's not out of the question.

Following the latest round of rumours, The Young Bucks have been speaking once again about joining WWE - and this time have revealed what the main factor behind their decision would be.

YOUNG BUCKS IN WWE

Matt and Nick Jackson are currently under contract with NJPW and ROH until November this year but were recently asked if there a possibility they will join WWE when their deals expire.

"Contract season is coming up, we'll see what happens," Matt said, at a NJPW G1 Special press conference this weekend, per Wrestling Inc.

"It's for our families, that's basically what I think it comes down to at this point."

So, according to one half of The Young Bucks, their decision will be based on what's best for their families going forward.

But what will that be? Moving to America would allow them to sign a lucrative WWE deal, likely earning more money but that means they'll also be performing more frequently.

Perhaps then, staying in Japan and continuing to work as they already do may be preferable. But only time will tell.
