Tevez hits brace in resounding win

Football News

Manchester City registered their biggest win over Liverpool since 1937 with a quite brutal 3-0 win at Eastlands.

England's biggest spenders totally outclassed the 18-times champions, who look like losing Javier Mascherano and seem further away than ever of getting their first championship of the Premier League era.

A superb debut from James Milner included the pass to set up Gareth Barry for City's first and the corner Micah Richards headed on for the goal Tevez claimed, before the Argentina striker added a third from the spot.
