Roman Reigns might have only been on the main roster since 2012, but he's already smashing plenty of records.

He's already main evented WrestleMania on four consecutive occasions, and is only the second man to defeat The Undertaker at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

MASSIVE PUSH

That alone is more than what some talented stars can achieve throughout their WWE careers.

Even though fans are against The Big Dog right now - the majority of them anyway - that doesn't mean the big push is going to stop.

One of the things the fans haven't liked recently is that with the Universal Championship absent from television, the company continues to stick the former Shield member in the main event.

For example, the WWE Championship was being defended at Backlash between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, but the WWE opted to have The Big Dog and Samoa Joe close the show.

There was some dissent towards this decision, with outrage on social media and fans leaving the arena not being a secret.

The WWE Championship is on the line again at Extreme Rules as The Phenomenal One battles Rusev, while Reigns will go up against Bobby Lashley.

Historically, the WWE title match should go on last, but recent booking suggests it'll be Reigns in the main event again.

MAIN EVENTS

Although fans might dislike this decision, it means Reigns is going to overtake the likes of Edge, Hulk Hogan, Batista and The Big Show for most main event matches on pay-per-views.

Reddit user 'Gear4Vegito' highlighted what the current list looks like and in only six years on the main roster, Reigns is tied 11th with 26 main event matches under his belt.

If he main events against Lashley, he'll own the 11th spot with 27 main events and that will put him one behind Brock Lesnar in 10th, who has main evented 28 times in his WWE career.

It just goes to show how much WWE and Vince McMahon values Reigns as a main event talent.

In comparison, CM Punk is in 16th with 24 main events while Kurt Angle only featured in 21.

He's also eclipsed both of his Shield brothers, as well as The Miz and Bret Hart.

Based on the way Reigns is being booked right now, along with the possibility of becoming Universal Champion soon, it's not going to be a surprise to see him feature in many more main events.

If he continues in that fashion, then he'll soon overtake Chris Jericho's 30 main events, while his cousin - The Rock - has had 33 main events and is at number eight in the list.

Reigns will also have Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton in his sights, too.

He still has some work to do to get into the top three, though, as Triple H is in third with 68 main events, The Undertaker has 69 while John Cena is at the top of the records list with 72 main events.

By the time Reigns' WWE career is over, he could very well be sitting at the top of the list with the most pay-per-view main events in WWE history.
