We’re coming up to two months since the Champions League final and Liverpool still haven’t signed a new goalkeeper. As things stand, Loris Karius will be the man in between the sticks for the Reds’ opening Premier League match of the season against West Ham on August 12.The 25-year-old endured a personal nightmare against Real Madrid in Kiev, gifting Zinedine Zidane’s side two goals after two horrendous mistakes.Karius, who was in tears after the final whistle, accepted responsibility for Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat. He must have feared that his Liverpool career was over that night. But Jurgen Klopp has so far been unable to bring in a replacement. The Merseyside outfit have been linked with a host of big-money keepers in recent weeks including Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak. However, neither of those world-class goalkeepers appears to be obtainable this summer and Klopp will only spend money on the right players.

Karius makes awful mistake v Tranmere

He might speed up his search for a new No. 1, though, after Liverpool’s 3-2 win over Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park on Tuesday night.

Why? Well, because Karius did this…

Dear oh dear, Loris.

That should be bread and butter for any goalkeeper, let alone a goalkeeper representing Liverpool Football Club.

Liverpool fans want him gone

It’s clear that his confidence is going to take a while to recover. Perhaps it never will.

Liverpool fans, however, have already had enough and just want their club to sign a replacement.

They don’t feel their team can win silverware with Karius as their first-choice keeper and who can blame them?
