Eden Hazard looks set to be at the centre of a big transfer saga this summer.

After a stunning World Cup campaign with Belgium, both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with the tricky winger.

Given the fact that he only has two years remaining on his current Chelsea contract, the Blues could be forced to cash in this summer.

If they hold off and Hazard fails to extend, they could lose out on precious millions.

In the current market, the fee for him would surely exceed €150m, which would cover the cost of a Hazard replacement and the fee they will pay for Napoli's Jorginho.

Nevertheless, losing a player of his talent would be a devastating blow to the Blues and arriving manager, Maurizio Sarri.

Without him in the side, it's hard to see where Chelsea's creativity and guile would come from.

So it will come as a pleasant surprise to Blues fans that the rumours circulating about Hazard and Barcelona are not what they seem.

Kristof Terreur, the expert on Belgian players plying their trade in the Premier League, has revealed that while Barca have made contact, they're in no position to afford him.

He also clarifies that Real Madrid are yet to make a bid, contradicting reports from the Daily Mail about a £150m offer from Los Blancos.

Terreur also states that Chelsea are not looking to sell.

However, while all may appear well for Chelsea, Terreur does state that things with Real Madrid could alter quickly.

Given their reputation with transfers and their need for a new superstar after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, this only seems logical.

Terreur also stresses that the current situation is one in which Hazard has not pushed Chelsea for a move.

Should he do so or even hand in a transfer request, everything changes.

There's going to be a lot go twists and turns with this one, but things look positive for Chelsea so far.

Sarri faces a huge task in convincing him to partake in his project.
