It's clear to see why Brock Lesnar is still dominating the headlines this week.
While his failure to appear on Monday Night RAW is something fans are still talking about, The Beast's appearance at the UFC 226 event has brought in extra attention from mainstream media.
While this level of attention would usually be fantastic for WWE, it's been claimed that the company isn't too happy with Lesnar's appearance at the pay-per-view last Saturday night.
Naturally, the world is talking about what went down after the current Universal Champion decided to verbally destroy the UFC's heavyweight division after pushing lifelong WWE fan and two-weight world champion, Daniel Cormier.
From the WWE's side, the fans are surprised at how good Lesnar's promo was and criticised the company for not letting him loose more often where it's more genuine.
From the UFC's side, fans have criticised the organisation for manufacturing drama which takes aware a core value for the UFC - that it's as real as it gets.
Although it's taken almost a week, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has finally reacted to Lesnar's promo ahead of his departure.
Speculation has suggested that Lesnar is going to defend the Universal Championship against either Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam.
Lesnar has also been confirmed to appear on RAW the following night.
With Lesnar all but confirmed to be returning to the Octagon, the expectation is that he'll drop the Universal Championship in his next match.
Despite all that, Austin recently claimed on his podcast that Lesnar's UFC 226 promo is one of the best promos he's ever heard.
He said: "We’ll see what comes out of the promo that happened afterwards with Brock Lesnar.
"They had Brock queued up, here he comes looking like a million bucks. And Brock just draws a lot of attention whenever he goes anywhere, especially here in the fight game where he’s had a very successful and interesting and lucrative career.
"And he goes out there and he cuts one of the best promos I’ve ever heard. ‘So and so is a piece of trash, Daniel Cormier I’m coming for you mother sucker.’
"Daniel started jawing back-and-forth with him, it was a good time.”
Although WWE fans have praised Lesnar's promo, it's highly unlikely that fans will agree that it's one of the best promos ever.
