Despite being the butt of the jokes on Monday Night RAW, it was Kevin Owens who left Pittsburgh as the winner following Extreme Rules - to a certain extent.
He's been bulldozed through by Braun Strowman, he's been made to look a coward, his rental car was flipped over and he was covered in blue liquid during that porta potty segment on RAW.
Although he technically picked up the win at Extreme Rules when he battled The Monster Among Men in their steel cage match, it was the Money in the Bank winner who was literally left standing.
It was arguably the best and most memorable spot of the night.
Owens was seconds away from escaping the cage and picking up the win, only to antagonise Strowman further and he was then thrown off the top of the cage and was sent crashing through the announcer's desk.
Some fans event noticed that Owens' head bounced off a monitor - something that should have been moved beforehand for safety.
Now, fans on Twitter are realising that Owens might have sneakily paid tribute to the Attitude Era on three different occasions during his victory against the former Wyatt Family member.
Sam Fishman initially highlighted the details, revealing that Owens did three notable things during the match.
The first is the most obvious, his fall of the cage.
It was the same city in which The Undertaker threw Mankind off the top of the cell who also went flying through the table.
During the match, Owens also channelled his inner D-Generation X when he crotch-chopped Strowman with the infamous 'Suck It!' taunt, which some fans also picked up on.
Finally - and it's not the first time it's happened - the former Universal Champion took a leaf out of Stone Cold Steve Austin's book by hitting the Stunner on Strowman.
So, that's the epic Mankind bump, the Stone Cold Stunner as well as the crotch chop all in one match.
There was even a sneaky CM Punk reference in there as he blew Strowman a kiss - like Punk's iconic wave at Money in the Bank.
No wonder fans felt like it was the Attitude Era all over again.
If anything, this is just further proof that Owens is a unique talent in WWE that they need to book a lot better on the main roster.
