Hulk Hogan's inevitable return was always going to cause a big stir in the WWE, both backstage and with the audience.

Fans won't need reminding about what happened back in 2015.

RETURN

It was worthy enough of WWE releasing him from his contract, cutting all ties to him along with all references - including being ousted from the Hall of Fame.

Rumours - once again - emerged over the weekend that The Hulkster was on his way back to WWE.

Although that's a piece of speculation we've heard for years, talk ramped up on Saturday after it was revealed that he was spotted flying into Cleveland, which was just hours away from Pittsburgh, the site of Extreme Rules.

Speculation then turned into confirmation after WWE revealed that Hogan had been reinstated into the Hall of Fame after a three-year suspension, and also met stars backstage.

ANGRY REACTION

More details have emerged about what happened backstage, with sources claiming that it was all relatively emotional while fellow Hall of Famer Mark Henry has revealed that the locker room is currently split on his return.

Now, Joseph Peisech of Barn Burner's No Holds Barred podcast has revealed that Titus O'Neil flipped out and stormed out of the arena after seeing Hogan backstage at Extreme Rules.

According to Ringside News, he said: "Titus O’Neil is a very big spokesperson for everything there [WWE], and he basically had a fit at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

"He was taken away from what I heard. He was at the arena and he saw Hogan and said, “What is he doing here?” and they explained that he’s been reinstated.

"Hogan to his credit came and tried to shake his hand and talk to him but he [Titus] just packed his bags and left.”

Titus hasn't hidden the fact that he's against a Hogan return.

Ringside News also brought to surface two comments which Titus 'liked' on Instagram, both of which were seemingly against Hogan returning to WWE and being reinstated to the Hall of Fame - which you can see below.

It wouldn't be a big surprise if this happened, as Henry himself has said that the locker room is currently split on his return.

Whether or not Titus' feelings remain this way is to be determined, but a reaction like that should have been anticipated by WWE at some point.
