Tuanzebe breaks Guinness World Record

It’s just emerged, however, that Tuanzebe is now the proud owner of a very unusual Guinness World Record.

But it has absolutely nothing to do with football.

Have you ever heard of the board game Hungry Hippos? If you grew up in the 1990s, there’s a fairly good chance you played it as a kid.

Anyway, it turns out that Tuanzebe is an absolute expert at it.

Per The Sun, he has just entered the record books for the fastest time to clear the game in just 17.36 seconds, beating teammate Ro-Shaun Williams on the pre-season tour.

Images of Tuanzebe standby alongside his Guinness World Record certificate and official adjudicator Adam Brown have emerged and the lad looks proud as punch.

Brown said: "We have had a great day adjudicating a range of record attempts with the Manchester United Football team as part of their collaboration with Guinness World Records.

"Axel Tuanzebe, was the bigger winner of the day and bagged himself the record for Fastest time to clear a game of hungry hippos in a time of 17.36 seconds, beating competition from his fellow team mates."

The Sun also reveal that the record was previously taken on by League of their Own stars Freddie Flintoff, Jamie Redknapp, James Corden and Jack Whitehall - but all failed where Tuanzebe succeeded.

Even if the football doesn’t work out, at least Axel will always have his Hungry Hippos world record.
