In one month's time, SummerSlam lands at the Barclays Center in New York.

Over the next few weeks, WWE will be building some major storylines to conclude at "The Biggest Party of the Summer".

POTENTIAL FEUDS

Even after just this week's episodes of SmackDown and RAW, we have a good idea of who could be clashing in Brooklyn.

Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns will go one-on-one next Monday to decide who will go on to SummerSlam to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

If Carmella loses to Becky Lynch on SD Live next Tuesday, she will have to defend the women's title against "The Irish Lasskicker" in August.

Bobby Roode could be the next challenger to Dolph Ziggler's Intercontinental belt - and it's more than likely that Sasha Banks and Bayley will clash in Brooklyn too.

Now, out of all those matches mentioned, one is heavily expected to headline SummerSlam. The Universal Championship match.

FIGHT FOR RAW'S TOP PRIZE

Although we don't yet know if it will be Reigns or Lashley challenging Lesnar for RAW's top prize, it will definitely happen in a month's time.

There's been so much talk surrounding The Beast's situation with WWE - and reports suggest SummerSlam could be his last appearance before he returns to UFC.

According to a number of sources, Lesnar only has one appearance left under the terms of his contract - which if true, means he likely won't be seen until the actual PPV.

MAKING AN EARLY APPEARANCE ON RAW

However, The American Airlines Arena, which is the venue for the July 30 episode of RAW, has teased the opposite of that, revealing that Lesnar is scheduled to appear in Miami.

Their website explains that an eight-man tag team match will be the main event, while the likes of Ronda Rousey, Alexa Bliss, Finn Balor and Lesnar himself will be present.

Perhaps then, we will see Brock in the build-up to SummerSlam, rather than seeing him just appear out of the blue in New York.

Of course, the venue's website does state that the card is subject to change - but it's still a good indication that WWE do actually have a plan to have Lesnar appear before SummerSlam.
