Transfer-listed Lincoln duo Shane Clarke and Chris Fagan have had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

Midfielder Clarke, a product of the club's youth system, made his debut in January 2008 and went on to make 75 appearances in all competitions.

A statement on the club's official website said: "We would like to thank both players for their services whilst with the club and wish them every success for the future."

Fagan joined Lincoln in the summer of 2009 following a spell at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain. The striker struggled to force his way into Chris Sutton's plans following his appointment as manager in September last year and returned to Spain for a loan spell at Jerez Industrial CF.

He scored four goals in 17 league and cup outings for Lincoln.
