Since making his return to WWE back in April, Bobby Lashley has been given a pretty strong push.
The Dominator feuded with Sami Zayn in his first storyline since 2008 - and defeated the Canadian at Money in the Bank.
Following that victory, things have got even better for Bobby.
MAIN EVENT PUSH
After beating Zayn, he moved on to feud with Roman Reigns.
The Big Dog is has been pushed by Vince McMahon as WWE’s top guy for a long time now, so just sharing the ring with him would have been a surprise for Lashley.
Shockingly, he went one better at Extreme Rules, beating Reigns clean at July’s PPV.
And next week, he’ll face Roman again for the chance to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
Now, we have no idea which way that match is going to go - but one WWE legend hopes Lashley can go on to main event "The Biggest Party of the Summer".
Because if he does, Booker T believes it could be an absolute classic.
PUTTING ON A SHOW
"I think it would be good for Bobby to actually get in there and mix with Brock Lesnar," Booker said, on Sean "X-Pac" Waltman's podcast, per NoDQ.
"It might be a rough night for him… but a good rub. People have been wanting to see Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley for many many years."
King Booker then went on to explain why he thinks the two would match up well - but he did also raise some questions over the potential challenger's physical ability.
"Both of them have the amateur background… Bobby is definitely ready to step into the fire.
"As well as [that] we wonder what Bobby’s still got left in the tank after ten years of being away from the company. We’re fired up, we’ll find out very soon."
Booker T is right, Bobby and Brock would be a great matchup, given their similar backgrounds - and honestly, most fans would rather see that than Reigns v Lesnar.
