Whenever SummerSlam is mentioned, Brock Lesnar becomes the immediate focus.

The expectation is that The Beast is finally going to drop the Universal Championship in Brooklyn, before making a return to the UFC's Octagon next year.

SUMMERSLAM

Although, speculation indicated that this was going to happen shortly after WrestleMania 34, with Roman Reigns capturing Monday Night RAW's biggest prize.

Instead, the WWE swerved its audience in New Orleans as well as Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the Greatest Royal Rumble with Lesnar remaining the Universal Champion.

As expected, there are plenty of rumours regarding what will go down in Brooklyn.

There could be another swerve and Lesnar might retain, The Big Dog might finally capture the title, Bobby Lashley is also involved while Braun Strowman and his Money in the Bank contract are undoubtedly going to be lurking in the shadows.

However, that's not the only major championship that could be changing hands at the biggest party of the summer next month.

According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, SummerSlam could see Alexa Bliss drop the RAW Women's Championship to Ronda Rousey.

RONDA ROUSEY

Rajah has shared the update from the Wrestling Observer Radio where they claimed that WWE is simply paying The Baddest Woman on the Planet too much money to not make her the champion soon, and they are also trying to get her even more over with WWE fans.

It's a decision that could split the fans yet again.

Some are entirely on board with Little Miss Bliss remaining as the heel champion the red brand needs, while others might claim Rousey holding the crown adds even more legitimacy to the women's division.

A championship win for Rousey has never been out of the question; it was thought that she could have captured the title as early as Money in the Bank when she took on Nia Jax.

It has already been revealed that Rousey being a WWE superstar is a big reason why Fox was so interested in airing WWE programming in their billion-dollar deal.

With that being the case, Rousey is bound to remain a focal point on WWE television and having the RAW Women's Championship around her waist is the best to do that.

She's proven that she can hold her own in the ring, the majority of fans are firmly behind her and the injection of relevancy to the women's division will be welcomed.
